Despite the numerous applications of life insurance, this service has remained less popular in Iran just like other developing countries, and its role in Iranian economy and the lives of Iranian people is not significant. Therefore this research studies the factors affecting the demand of life insurance in Iran by simulation  of the function of demand for life insurance in three forms of non-linear equations (Cobb-Douglas, quadratic and exponential) using gravitational search optimization algorithm. The variables of real per capita sold life insurance, real GDP per capita, the probability of death, literacy, responsibility and inflation rate between 1978 and 2013 are expanded in these equations. The findings of the study showed that Cobb-Douglas's form of demand for life insurance presents better results in comparison with the two other forms. Accordingly, GPD per capita (as a symptom of income), literacy, responsibility and death probability have significant impact on the demand and by contrast, inflation rate have negative impact on demand for life insurance. امروزه بیمه عمر، با توجه به گسترش وسیع در جهان به خصوص در کشورهای توسعه یافته، نقش مهمی در اقتصاد این کشورها ایفا می­کند. با وجود کارکردهای بسیار در زمینه­ی بیمه عمر، این صنعت در ایران، مانند اکثر کشورهای درحال توسعه ناشناخته باقی مانده و نقش آن در اقتصاد کشور و زندگی خانواده­ها ناچیز است. بنابراین در این مقاله به منظور بررسی عوامل مؤثر بر تقاضای بیمه عمر در ایران به شبیه­سازی تابع تقاضای بیمه عمر در سه فرم از معادلات غیرخطی (کاب داگلاس، درجه دوم و نمایی) با استفاده از الگوریتم بهینه­سازی جستجوی گرانشی پرداخته شده و متغیرهای میزان بیمه عمر فروخته شده واقعی سرانه، تولید ناخالص داخلی واقعی سرانه، احتمال فوت، نرخ باسوادی، بار تکفل و نرخ تورم طی دوره زمانی (1392- 1355) در این معادلات بسط داده  شده است. نتایج این مطالعه نشان می­دهد فرم کاب داگلاس تقاضای بیمه عمر نتایج بهتری را در مقایسه با دو فرم دیگر ارائه می­دهد. بر این اساس تولید ناخالص داخلی سرانه (به عنوان نمادی از درآمد)، نرخ باسوادی، نرخ تورم، بار تکفل و احتمال مرگ از عوامل مؤثر بر تقاضای بیمه عمر است که درآمد، نرخ باسوادی، بار تکفل و احتمال مرگ، اثر مثبت بر تقاضا دارند و در مقابل، نرخ تورم اثر منفی بر تقاضای بیمه عمر دارد. https://ecoj.sbu.ac.ir/article_53482_6258e285eeb51b21d01ffe9cb9f9c1d1.pdf
