Inflation Inequality in Iran, Provincially Disaggregated

Abstract

Inflation inequality illuminates that households with different consumption patterns face different inflation rates. The researches have used and calculate plutocratic price gaps to investigate the differences. The households’ are grouped in relation to rural and urban and provinces. The time period is 1374-1385 for rural areas and 1369-1385 for urban areas. The results show that there are inflation inequalities in both rural and urban areas in all provinces, and their trends are different too.
